seenx Privacy policy

Your data stays yours.

This policy explains what Seenx reads, what stays in your browser, and what is sent to a service when you choose to use an online feature.

Last updated: September 24, 2026

Seenx keeps your browsing memory on your device. It does not read X passwords, cookies, private messages, or hidden X APIs. Some optional tools send limited information to their providers when you ask them to run.

What Seenx can see on X

After you enable Seenx, it reads public post information that appears as you browse X, such as post text, the author's handle, the post link, and token mentions. Posts are recorded as they enter view so you can find them later in your personal memory. Seenx does not automatically scroll the page or collect hidden posts.

What stays in your browser

Your browsing memory is stored in IndexedDB in your browser profile. It can include:

Viewed posts

Post links, authors, dates, available text and a local word index for filtering.

Tokens and account memory

Token observations and other personal account notes gathered while browsing.

Favorites and notes

Saved posts and notes you write. Favoriting a post also saves its full text locally.

Search and local cache

Optional AI results and search indexes used to find items in your memory.

Disconnecting Seenx or switching accounts does not erase this local memory. Use the extension's available delete controls or remove the extension to clear its local data. Data left by older Seenx versions may remain in the same browser profile.

When information is sent outside your browser

Seenx sends information only for the feature being used. The services involved are listed below.

Feature Information and purpose
Connect When you confirm Connect, your selected X handle is sent to apenope.com to create a Seenx session. The service stores the handle, a hash of the session token, its expiry, and request counters. Sessions expire after 30 days; disconnecting revokes the current session.
AI analysis Only when you request analysis, the selected post text and metadata are sent through apenope.com to DeepSeek to produce the result. The Seenx proxy does not persist the post text. DeepSeek's own data practices also apply.
Reply assistant For the creator's connected @mintaro_eth account, only when Generate reply is clicked, the post text is sent through the Seenx service to DeepSeek for a draft. Seenx does not save the returned draft or submit it to X. Reply on X opens an editable compose draft.
Smart search Only your search query is sent through apenope.com to DeepSeek for related-word suggestions. Your saved posts and notes are not sent, matching is done locally, and the service does not persist the query.
Token context When you request token context, the ticker or contract is sent to Dex Screener to retrieve public market data.
Visibility check Only when you click Check, the public username you entered is sent through apenope.com to Yuzurisa for an external visibility check. The service may cache the username and result in memory for up to 15 minutes. This is not an official X restriction result.
Install count Seenx automatically reports a random installation ID and extension version on first run, when the version changes, and at most once per day while it runs. The server stores a SHA-256 hash of the ID, first/last report times, and latest version. This is separate from account sessions and does not include your handle, posts, or browsing memory.

Server logs and retention

Requests to apenope.com may include your IP address in standard web server logs. The server also uses IP addresses temporarily for rate limiting. Installation-count records are kept to maintain cumulative totals; uninstalling stops future reports but does not remove a past count. The X handle and session record are removed when the session expires or is revoked.

Seenx does not sell user data or use it for targeted advertising. Information is shared with the service providers above only to provide the feature you requested.

Your choices

  • You decide whether to connect Seenx and whether to run AI, search, token-context, or visibility-check features.
  • You can disconnect to revoke your current Seenx session. Your local browsing memory remains on your device.
  • You can delete saved items with the controls in Seenx. Removing the extension clears its local browser data and stops future installation reports.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when Seenx features or data practices change. The latest version will be published at this address with a new update date.
